if you want to monetize your points straight away, I'd recommend some lower end prizes, namely Bewitching Sorcerers Bonnet and Thieves Hood. They're buyable, so you can just toss them in your shop, and are ETS while still getting you quite some bucks for your points. I'd def. not go for the petpets as they're really HTS, so meh. If you want to bother with unbuyables, go for the background or foreground - stay away from the BD weapons as A Shovel is super situational and even that not overwhelming and accordingly HTS and the only other good one is Rejuvenating Jar of Brains, but the market is flooded with those, so they don't net that many NP for the points they cost ![]()

#1653316 Discussion for Tyrannia plot- war for the obelisk

So is that weapon theft thing still happening?
Edit: oh, interesting thing--draws count for about half as much as a win, it appears.
nobody really confirmed it happened to begin with.
there were only 2 users claiming to have lost one once-per-battle item - one was a kacheek life potion and one was a heavy robe of thievery. the KLP one just went silent on the board and never confirmed he re-checked in his BD equip, etc. that it's actually gone and the HRoT one found his item in the BD equip and it continued working shortly afterwards.
An issue that did appear with that challenger at the beginning (got it myself) was that he semi-bugged out - i.e. the battle didn't end properly resulting in your once-per-battle items/abilities you used already in that fight not being useable, however it fixed itself after continuing that fight/a few fights later.
So in a nutshell: there was never a confirmation by anyone that there actually was a glitch that'd cause you to permanently lose your items, but there was one that temporarily prevented you from using your once-per-battle items (possibly also semi-fragile ones) again which fixed itself, though, and doesn't seem to occur anymore (at least I didn't get it again).
#1653065 [Q]About Over Healing In Battles

the difference used to be that between overhealers (such as scorchstones) and normal ones (like greater healing scroll, short sleeved yellow tunic, eca, ...) - anyway there's no difference between them in the new BD atm (all healers are normal ones, there's no overhealing) which was listed as "known issue" in the beta news before the "war" started, so it may be changed back to the way it was.
for clarity it was like this:
normal healers healed you *before* receiving damage
overhealers healed you *after* receiving damage
example:
you currently have 40/50 HP, get 30 damage that round and use a healer that heals 50 HP
if it's a normal healer you heal up to 50 and then take 30 damage, so you have 20/50 HP afterwards
for a overhealer you first take 30 damage, so you have 10/50 HP now and then get healed up the 50 HP, so you end with 50/50 HP

first off the name <-> race connection (taken from page source):
Hurok: Acara
Selvin: Ixi
Rutu: Poogle
Voughn: Kau
Ricky: Kiko
assumption based on the pic:
hurok the acara is the knight
general asumption:
the journal writer doesn't refer to himself in third person
entry 2:
information:
selvin ist the wizard
selvin won't go to lost desert
Voughn takes the cloud negg
assumption:
the writer takes the clockwork negg
entry 5:
information:
rutu goes to shenkuu
the knight does not take the clockwork negg
somoene else wants to go stargazing (altador)
entry 8:
information:
selvin doesn't go brightvale
the glass negg goes to brightvale
conclusions based on the assumptions/information:
because of selvin's fear for scamanders, he doesn't go to altador, either, because he'd have to cross LD
therefore selvin goes to kiko lake
because ricky is the only one not referred to (selvin, rutu and voughn are explicitly named, hurok is referred to as knight), he is the one writing the journal
because ricky writes the journal, he has the clockwork negg
Voughn is the one referred to as "another" person in entry 5 because Selvin alreay had a place to go to, hurrok is the knight, rutu is explicitly referred to and Ricky won't be referred to as third person and therefore goes to Altador
because ricky has the clockwork negg and there are only brightvale and lost desert left, he will go to lost desert and hurok to brightvale because the glass negg goes to brightvale
therefore:
the clockwork negg is hidden by Ricky in the lost desert
the cloud negg is hidden by Voughn in Altador
the glass negg is hidden by Hurok in Brightvale
the two unnamed neggs are hidden by Selvin and Rutu in Kiko Lake and Shenkuu resp.
if you find some logic flaw somewhere, please let me know in time
Edit: made the part you can submit as solution to the puzzle bold so it's easier to find

#1495369 [GUIDE] Smart ABing - High Volume, Low Profit, Low Risk - FULL LISTS FOR EVER...

I think you should add seperate lists for half-price-day.
if you recall the "go all out on half-price-day" hint, using a seperate list for it is also part of that imo. many items that are normally not worth suddenly fall into exactly this low profit category during half-price-day (in case of the bookshop the items on my list during half-price-day are twice as many as normally (~1300 instead of ~650), so you can easily stock up a rather big amount of random items that can be sold for the rest of the month
