You realize that this doesn't actually affect you in any way, shape, or form...right?

Just because these people are famous, or get lots of money, or whatever happens to them, there is a very very very tiny chance that it will affect any part of your life. They will most likely end up losing fame to another idiot and end up an washed up ex celebrity that no one remember, or that is in the news all the time so someone might remember them.

Meanwhile, the sun will keep rising, and everyone will go about their days like normal. People will live, people will die, people will love, people will hate. This changes nothing, and is something that should be ignored. If you give them anger, you give them attention.

The screwed up part is that these celebrities are what SOME people believe is screwing up society. Obviously, you haven't had anything difficult ever happen to you before. There are plenty more things out there that should capture our attention, and make us fear for the future, but Rebecca Black and the senseless noise that is Glee have nothign to do with it.

Well, its good that we aren't talking about any other world problems in this thread then isn't it? And I don't think any of us are equating this to any real societal issues. (At least I'm not.) It is more of an exaggeration than anything. Humor... if you will.
