So I moved to the public Mushroom Island (accessible down the Purple hall in the Nether hub) last night or so and began working on a base. These are EARLY images, so don't hate on me, please:

Once in the door and down the stairs, you can turn around and see this:



This is the view, however, just inside the door and looking across from the stairs (yes, that is a carrot patch; don't ask):



Just beyond the carrot patch and looking back the other way:

Impressive looking build so far Kord! Love how well the wool and carpet goes with the stone brick. Can't wait to jump on and take a look!

Haha I'm glad you like it! My builds tend to not compare at all with the amazing stuff most of you come up with...but I try. I'm camped out at the spider farm right now while I work on posting the voting thread for the SOTW.

Well you already know that I own my own server and do stuff on it for being able to build with absolutely anything I want (I tend to think of myself as Kord Unleashed on the Realm, lol!), but I have spent ALL of my Minecrafting hours today here on the Neocodex server...my builds may not be flashy here, but I enjoy it immensely, and wouldn't wish to be on any other community server with my time.

That looks so good in the Chroma Hills pack, I thought the Sphax VanillaBDCraft made it look great, but this, this is just superb!

It was pretty fun to build! I would've done it again this year, but for the past 2 weeks my internet has been shit. I was getting a ping of 1000+ ms D:
