can someone knowing how to ss on a mac please please pm me!

SSing on a mac is very easy. Open the SSer (it's in the program manger. You need to click on it, and select run at the bottom,on the right of the manger where the program description is. Or install if there's a red X next to the name of the SSer after that you can hit "run" ).

 

Then, Hit "settings" at the top of the bar (where the apple symbol is). Hit "score list". Then either add scores or load your own score list. Then hit start.

 

And There you go. (Log shows the scores sent, status shows what's sending.)

 

The program manger file is a zip file and in there will be the mac files. After you open the zip file, it'll create a folder and the program manger with the .dmg is the mac version.

Are you using the link under the neopets header to download the manger? (apparently the download link in the manger thread has been updated for the .zip but I'd still recommend using the download link under the header). A mac should easily be able to open a .zip. I just double click on them, and they open. 

 

If you can't download it, but can't extract any files it should have downloaded. You can't extract files from something not downloaded. 

 

Try dragging it out of your downloads folder, and onto the desktop (that seems to have worked for others who can't open zip files for some reason. If you still can't get it open, then try an online/downloadable zip program. Mac used to have StuffitExpander there for it.

 

Oh and does your mac meet the system requirements for the manger? (those are listed in the program manger thread.) It probably does, but I"m just trying to cover everything. Even if it doesn't, my old mac a 10.4 (manger require 10.5+) was able to download it and open the .zip, the manger itself wouldn't work though.

For some reason it keeps on crashing for me. I can't get to the computer that has the error on it atm, but on my laptop it is continusely crashing. Anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours into my list. Just wondering if anyone else was encountering the same error in my downtime.

Also, can you only SS on one computer only?

You can download and log into, and run multiple program mangers. (with the login thats your codex login.) That way you can SS on more than one account.

 

If you meant one neo account different computers, just download the program manger onto the computers you'd like to use with your one neo account.

I'm on my desktop but my laptop is in my sisters room and that's what I ment. I don't score send at all from my desktop. On that I play games. (BF3, L4D, WOW) My laptop I'm usually not using so I run a scoresender with a proxy off of it. Every once in a while I'll turn around and the program will have crashed . When I go to SS tom I'll post the error. I remember off the top of my head though that it always has gathering game data at the bottom. Don't know if that means anything though .

Yup! You'll want to use a proxy so your accounts won't be on the same IP though.

I fixed this, and gave the code to Pyro to upload, but he's been really busy lately.

Normally the error is gone after some minutes but now i can't send scores for two hours :c

I noticed that after the update, my score sender would stop sending scores without warning. It will work fine for a bit, and then just refuses to budge. When this happens, I can change my login settings, but can't edit the score list. Hitting the "Stop Score Sending!" button does nothing and the start button is unclickable. And there are no error messages either. 

 

At this point, I think it occurs randomly. Once it occurred after having sent only a handful of scores and another time it was close to the end of my list.
