Yes. They do.
1: Wikipedia isn't 100% accurate. I thought everyone knew that.
2: Women were giving birth long before technology or medical advances. I'm sure there are also plenty of women who don't make it to a hospital and push their babies out on the side of the road.
Hell, there are women in 3rd world countries doing it in huts at this very moment.
1)Wikipedia is more accurate then any source you will find today, because wikpedia uses more than one source to collate their information, whereas everything else uses just a single source. I've never been presented with false information on wikipedia, whereas the textbooks issued by my college has been wrong multiple times. Even if you don't trust Wikipedia, just look at the sources.
2)Did I ever say "No one ever gave birth before technology!!!!" No, but a large portion of women died during childbirth in the days before we had technology to assist with it. They are definitely capable of giving birth, but without technology they have a largely increased chance to die during it, or have other serious complications.

Without technology, or without increased knowledge? Do you think a woman giving birth in the US at home today would have a much, much higher chance of dying than someone in a hospital surrounded by technology?
