Forgot to mention, I am/was jewish. Though, the part about finding your own path is interesting, but I believe I'll find my path on my own (I'm a bit wary of other people around me, anywhere, not just in churches) Your church sounds nice though!
But made-up shit is the best kind of writing!
We don't do peyote, that is a very different Native church.
There is an interesting balance, between the church as a group that attempts to support and offer advice, to share in joy and take the burden of grief; and the church that becomes an indoctrination in dogma, where the group does not help, but control.
We all walk our own path, sometimes it is nice to have others for support and comfort, to provide wisdom and point out pitfalls. Sometimes, its better to just meditate and listen to your own spirit. Aiyee, it is your path.
Human DNA shares 99% of their sequences with our closest animal relatives. If there were screw happy aliens, they'd leave a much larger DNA footprint in our own code. We believe we can pick out the small genetic contribution of the neanderthal and a second mystery subspecies in our strands, we'd certainly pick out a bunch of funkydunky E.T. DNA strands.
Now, they could have done subtle manipulations on our strands, can't comment on that.
