For many of us, we have small goals or milestones for encouraging us to be more active/participate more/etc... (This is evident with turn out some times for certain prizes)

 

I got to wondering about what milestones one might have as a forum user. So what are your goals/milestones?

 

• Getting someone to like you
• Getting into Advanced+
• Getting into Retired
• Getting into Staff
• Getting into Pyro's lap
• Getting a 100 post day
• Getting a 200 post day
• Getting a real connection with a stranger on the internet
• Getting to know a new person every day
• Getting first place in a poetry contest

 

What are your motivating factors?

Way back in 2009 I had a goal of 500 posts for Advanced Member. 

 

That's pretty much all I've ever had in mind.

I'm just waiting for a new generation of people to come along. The first 3 were wicked, but the last two have just been rubbishing the boards with neopets shit and inside jokes that everyone hates.

I'm just waiting for a new generation of people to come along. The first 3 were wicked, but the last two have just been rubbishing the boards with neopets shit and inside jokes that everyone hates.

But... but we love neopets.

I suppose my next milestone will be to get fired from staff. UNLESS I learn how to program and becomes a programmer. That could take some time. I'm not sure what half these buttons on the keyboard do.

I dunno why you made such a long list when you've already gone through a quarter of it.
It used to be my only goal was to get Advanced+. Then it changed.


I kinda feel like my new goal should be to cut back on codex to make up for you.

• Finish my Altador Cup SSing Guide (when the practice rounds start and I have definite data)
• Start Chatting In IRC/TC

I've accomplished a lot on this forum apparently:

 

Accomplished goals

1) Make Advanced Member (It wasn't advanced member+ back then)
2) Make 1000 posts

3) Make 2000 posts

4) Make 3000 posts

5) Make 5000 posts

6) Get into retired

7) Get into staff

8) Fall in love with a sexy Australian staff  (one-sided love)

9) Grow my ePeen a few inches (now 3, from 0. Which is still bigger than my real peen)

 

And along the way I've made some pretty awesome friends.

 

New goals (I guess):

1) 10k posts

2) Win a Codie on something that doesn't suck.

3) Meet up with a Codex member. Y'all know who you are...

I remember when I was so active that people used to say "BOG FOR ADMIN 2012". ohhh life.

I feel super lazy for not having any particular goals I want to achieve on this forum.

Maybe get into Retired or Staff (roflmao).

 

The only thing I really want is maybe to get people to actually get one Pokemon Online so I have more decent people to battle.
