I believe in the propaganda about people from other geological locations being bad people, unless they pay a pledge to the government.

Kate, have you ever heard of the Stanford prison experiment. Authority changes how you treat others, and how people treat you. However, I'm not aware of any beatings going on in NC... so in this scale, you're probably safe from doing or seeing egregious things.
