Yep I actually just did. I DONT KNOW HIM lol. Relax. I wasn't saying it in a sarcastic, rude, or condescending way. The user isn't active and it's my first encounter with him. Of course I wondered who he was, it's not like it should be common knowledge lol It's a forum, it's not like he's a music artist or TV star..

I get that he's been here longer and I think that's really great, but that doesn't earn automatic respect or ass kissery in my books, sorry.

I'll give you a very quick rundown of my history:

 

I joined this site called "Digibliss" about 9/10 years before you joined Neocodex.  Became a moderator there, that site failed when there was a ton of drama within the staff regarding Neo_grl.  Damn near everyone there migrated to NeoTwist.  I became a moderator there for a bit IIRC, but got demoted for something that my immature ass likely deserved.  That site eventually disappeared, we went back to Digibliss for a bit.  Forget what happened with that mess.  I went to Iced Accounts afterwards, which was run by a great group.  I'd pop in there every now and then for a long time.

 

Eventually, I joined this site.  I got warned fairly quickly by DudeOnline/DoucheOnline and disappeared for a while.  I came back months later, was active for years, and... yeah.  Multiple warnings, a few suspensions, including one S-Mod really saying some things that cut deep and still stick with me (Tetiel?  Was she this site?), and yeah. Here I am.

 

Now I just stop in on occasion, I may become more active, who knows...  When I'm active I am usually one of the top posters.

Googled it quick.  Didn't realize Sweeney was considered a famous literary figure.  Regardless, typically you let something like that go.  But who am I to judge or suggest how a site be run.

 

That last sentence isn't sarcasm, even though I can see how it may be construed as that.  Normally I am sarcastic, but I am not a good person to judge how a site like this should be run.  If Soggy Cuntwaffles is accepted around here that's cool, I just didn't expect it nor expect a moderator to say it.

This is true. Making good decisions garners respect from people in the end anyway, so one shouldn't be caught up in how individual decisions will make them look if they are "good" decisions. ("good" being a complex measure of many things that I will conveniently leave out of this post. )
