More seniored members of Codex know to shrug off Sweeney's behavior as "Sweeney being himself". You cannot expect that same sentiment from noobs however.

I was new once and somehow I got along with Sweeney really good. I think it was all the asskissing I did when I first got here. Flattery gets you far with some people.

Honestly, I think we've all made snide remarks to people we believe are stupider than us. Some of us seem more stupid than others. Even if we're only MILDLY stupid, we sometimes say a lot of stupid things, and other people (people who are smarter than us) put us in our place. What happens if you are a smart person surrounded by stupid people? Lots of snide comments to be made, I imagine. All I can do is imagine, since I'm down here at the bottom of the totem pole with all you other stupid fucks.

Grow some thick skin.  Seriously.  The target demographic of this site will have assholes that will completely ruin your day if you don't.  I know I caused numerous problems for an ex moderator (On a related note, does Kitsune come around any more?), and she'd likely feel the same way as you.

To be fair... Sweeney did not name his thread that. Originally it was called Things I Would Change and if I recall correctly it was Waser or Slink who changed it to The Sweeney Appreciation Thread. I'll try to find the post that references the change.
