Okay, so my meals are pretty much similar to everyone else's. The biggest problem is that I get SO hungry if I don't eat within 3 hours. I eat a full breakfast at 7:30 and then my stomach growls at 10:00. It's weird because it's not really cravings as much as it's legitimate hunger. I don't starve myself either. For breakfast I had two slices of toast, a full mango, a bowl of honey nut cheerios without milk, vanilla yoghurt, and green tea. On my drive to school, I have less than two cups of trailmix which is just peanuts, granola, raisin and some M&M's and a whole banana.

So the question is: What are so light snacks to have between meals to curve the hunger? One of my friends said sugarless jello which I'm considering because I've been eating way too much naturally sugary and citrusy things that cutting it down can help.

Seems like you might just have a very high metabolism, personally I like apples they are healthy only ~100 calories and are fairly filling since they are dense. You might want to try drinking more water it fills up your stomach so it doesn't feel empty plus being well hydrated has health benefits.

You need protein, it helps give that 'full' feeling. Try peanut butter on your toast and substitute Greek yogurt over plain. Also I forget your age, but younger people need to eat more, don't starve yourself. Could be fast metabolism as well, I'm similar in that way.
Edit: cereal without milk? Drink your milk. I would also maybe suggest having some eggs or a meat for breakfast, more protein. As long as you keep portion sizes small, they aren't bad for you.

This, x100. Protein at breakfast is such a winner, if you can stomach it. I found it so difficult at first but it really makes all the difference to your hunger levels for the rest of the day.

I'm ill so have no appetite and will not be running.

So today is starting out pretty blah. Not in the right frame of mind, feeling bloated, no weight loss, emotional.

I'm saying screw it, after work whether it's pouring or not I'm going to go out for a walk and the rain can wash away my tears :p

Yesterday for lunch I had my salad (chicken, tomato, avocado, romaine lettuce, date vineigrette dressing.) Dinner I had chicken marinara and asaparagus with a side of fruit (I only ate half a chicken breast which is good since I have a problem with overeating).

@Keil this may sound weird but one of my mates who's really into gym got me I to these - peanut butter cookies. You can but them from stores that sell supplements and they'll help as a healthy snack to keep you full and give you needed proteins and salts at the same time. Not sure exactly what they were made of but the taste wasn't too bad.

If you like fish/tuna, my gym junkie buddies eat light once every 2-3 hours usually a small tin of tuna on a piece of rice bread or just tuna and a small amount of white rice with a bit of steamed green vegetables like brocolli. These guys burn ALOT of energy so get hungry every few hours like you've described and his really seems to keep their stomachs happy.

You really shouldn't eat too much red meat if you are trying to lose weight. Sure red meat gives you better proteins but it also adds mass so it's more for a bulking phase sort of protein. If you're trying to lose weight / lean out then you should be eating chicken. Turkey is also an even better option as it is still under the same sort of class as chicken (white meat) but is higher in protein then chicken.

Also a healthy option for red meat and full of protein is kangaroo meat. I'm not too sure if you can get it in America but it's sold on grocery stores here in Australia. It's the richest in protein but I just hate the taste of it so I don't eat it.

    Hope this helps :)

The kangaroo meat I've seen here is mixed with hamburger meat.

My mom bought this peanut butter coconut spread (basically chunky peanut butter with coconut oil added, so it has a slight coconut flavor) that I mixed into plain instant oatmeal, along with a sprinkling of vegan chocolate coconut crisp things. I would have added some banana/banana chips if we had any, but it's tasty as is. I've eaten maybe a third of it, and I'm already full.

It's 2 o'clock in the morning so eating bread right now is not really the healthiest choice for a snack as you will probably be sleeping soon. If you want a snack at this time a piece of fruit would be a better option. I'm eating pizza, but I'm on night shift so this is actually my "lunch" meal.

As for the kangaroo in hamburger mince, rather than make hamburgers out of it use that mince to make spaghetti bolognase. SB is probably one of the only things I'll eat with kangaroo meat because it seems to be not that bad. Kangaroo steaks and sausages are a little tougher and chewier then regular beef or pork and has a pretty distinct flavour to it that I just don't like.

I finally popped up some relatively clean breakfasts for anyone who fancies trying something different to toast and cereal. :p I think breakfast is a time that it's really easy to make massive changes that will affect your food intake for the whole day so definitely worth a shot if you have the time/inclination.

I really need to focus more on eating breakfast. For as long as I can remember I've never eaten breakfasts early as it doesn't sit well in my stomach and makes me feel yucky. BUT I need change and I'm going to force myself to get up a few minutes earlier and try some of these recipes you've suggested :)

I will do basically anything for more sleep so breakfast and I are not the best of friends. You can always start yourself off a bit more slowly, I still sometimes just take a banana and a little box of seeds to work with me and eat that when I get in, which is about 90 minutes after getting up. I feel really unsettled if I eat when I'm not properly awake so quite often I do breakfasts where I actually cook at the weekend where I've got the time to have an hour or so to come around before I eat!

I'm so glad I was in NeoCodex while grocery shopping. Not only did I buy peanut butter cookies (and actual peanut butter while I was at it), I bought a pound of shrimp. It's going to taste so good after a good steam and seasoning and lemon juice.

I keep running late, so I don't eat breakfast. I'm trying to change that, I like food. On another hand, my mom went and got donuts.  :/ There's too much temptation around me.

When I took my "rest day"(more like "light exercise day"), I noticed there was a zumba app, called "zumba dance". I had no idea what zumba was, but the app is a really fun way to exercise. Now I have something else to do besides running.
