I've got a slight Texan accent. Most noticeable when every I say "hour", tends to come off as 'auer', eh-er basically.

Yay! You have a great voice. I would say that I sound the same but I've had west coast Americans call me out as having an accent. (west coast Canadian)

that's nice of you. I'm really, really bad for telling apart accents, in english especially
almost everybody sounds the same unless you have an english accent I guess? That one's kind of obvious

Everyone has an accent. Some of the more common ones can sound neutral depending on who is listening but I guarantee those across the pond think we have obvious accents too ![]()

Pretty sure they get deleted after a while so they're probably not around any more and all these voices will be lost in time, like urine in rain. Thankfully, however, this means that vocal evidence of my existence will disappear into the ether eventually. ![]()
But yeah, there's no such thing as one British or English accent because they change like every 10 miles or something. My accent is vastly different to Ali's, for example, because she's extremely posh while I'm all common and we even use completely different words.

Well, the theory is actually that the more we see violence on television (not including news), the more we believe that the world is a mean and scary place. The theory (Cultivation Theory by George Gerbner) focuses more on how television affects viewers' beliefs about the world and the feelings connected to them. I think I made a debate about this a while ago hahaha. No one was interested.
You sound like such a girl.
Thank you... I think e.e
