Here's the thing. There are a LOT of men who think like him. They might not go on shooting sprees and write up 141 page manifestos, but there are a lot of men who sincerely believe that women and other people who aren't male are subhuman and should be viewed and treated as such. That they should all be killed off for no reason other than their gender, or over petty reasons like the shooter's. If given the chance they would more than likely do exactly what this Elliot kid did. Don't give me that "not all men" crap, that's just another perfect excuse men use rather than acknowledge the shit we go through and pretend everything is fine. It's great that you personally don't do this but in no way does that mean every other man out there is like you.

 

It's so tiring seeing that excuse every time a woman posts/talks about her negative experience(s) with men. Seeing men pretty much say "lol your feelings towards this are invalid for x reason stop talking about it". It doesn't get us anywhere. It doesn't stop anything. Misogyny isn't somehow erased completely just from men saying that. Women are still going to get harassed, raped, murdered, all that JUST BECAUSE WE'RE WOMEN. We just want it to fucking stop already. We don't want to be scared of men anymore in case he actually is like this guy and other woman-haters. We don't want to be viewed on the same levels as pets or trash anymore. Is that too much to ask for!!

 

Also yes okay there are women out there who attack men and are actual misandrists but in no way is it on the same levels as the shit we have to go through daily from men. The shit that we've been going through for I don't know how long and will keep going though until the wonderful day where men everywhere stop and realise "you know, this mindset is absurd and dangerous so I should stop acting in this way and excusing it when other men act like this". Speaking of misandry, stop for a minute and think why they hate men.

No... the original video was a severely mentally ill serial killer discussing his revenge on society for his supposedly shitty life. 

 

It doesn't matter if he targeted women, badgers or anyone with a bolo tie on that day, he's mentally ill and his actions cannot be justified. He killed people (and women) because he was insane and wanted to kill people. Not because he didn't get laid.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to prove, but there are far more men who have serial killed, both in general and for sexual- or gender- related reasons.

Even so, I would be shocked to see the same type of comments if a woman committed the same type of mass murder. They'd probably be about her appearance, instead.

 

I'd say it's more likely that it's down to immaturity and the relative anonymity and distance which comes with posting on the internet than it is to do with glorifying the actions of one unstable person and actually believing the same things as he espoused. We already know that a lot of men are stupid (proportionally more so than women in my experience) and we all also know that people post things on the internet for attention which they don't actually believe.

Are you telling me you don't believe that forced penetration is rape? Because by their definition, it isn't.
The reason I used the 12 month column is because there simply isn't enough data for proper lifetime male rape (and forced penetration) statistics.
Men are something like 3 times less likely to report a rape and even when they do it has to fit the definition of a rape which doesn't include forced penetration.
