Most people just call me Emily or Em. My father's side of the family and my downstairs neighbor calls me Emmy which I really hate.

I already like this topic. I feel as though i am being told secrets lol.
My nicknames in school were Raggedy Ann and Paint Brush. Raggedy Ann because i was flexible, and Paint Brush because my hair reminded people of paint brushes (whaaaat?!). But none of them stuck (thankfully). I made up the name Prisca by accident after my former game name Beatrice, was taken by too many people lol. (it was dumb anyways).

My nickname for myself is Top Gun Wild Boy Raw Dog. I've gotten maybe two people to call me that.
Nice.
I go by my first name at work, but most of the patients and customers call me Blue because they never remember my real name and my hair is blue. Otherwise, most people call me Punk, Niki, or Nix. Whenever people get my name wrong and apologize I'm just like, "Whatever. I've been called worse."

Now that I think about it, I've had quite a few nicknames. Steph is the obvious choice by people. My parents used to call me Stepher or Stephaluffagus (play on Snuffaluffagus, the Sesame Street character). My sister used to call me Step-on-me and I totally would have each time if she weren't five years older and twice my size when I was little. Scott (ex) used to call me nubcake or nub affectionately. The current calls me night owl, little owl, dear, and babygirl. The last being particularly significant whether he knows I know or not because it's the title of a song he wrote over 3 years ago that pretty much describes our dynamic.
Another friend calls me "Legs" and has been hitting on me constantly since he saw me in fishnets. Clearly I need to watch where I wear those ![]()

I've always been the typical shortened versions of my name:
Kate
Katie
Kt
Kat
But in terms of special nicknames, my best friend turned sister in law's father has called me "Malibu" since high school, I was very tanned and blonde I guess and reminded him of Malibu barbie. Years later he still calls me this.
My only ever British friend IRL called me Kitty. Like your friend @Ali, he would introduce me as Kit or Kitty and I always just assumed it was a British thing lol

My nickname isn't as interesting as everyone elses.. Sasquatch, or squatch when everyone is feeling lazy. Needless to say I've had other nicknames similar to sasquatch as i'm much taller than everyone else.

It's been years but the name 'SackSlapped' still cracks me up.
It was only because of the name of the old game "slap the sack" or whatever. It was funny at the time, and apparently still is ![]()

For some reason, my parents decided to name me something that would normally be a nickname - Dany. I love it, but I'll never get to have any cutesy nicknames because of it.

My mum/brother calls me Cat.
Edit (almost forgot that one): In high school I was known as "ciganita" (little gypsy) because I tan very easily and I always had really long hair (at waist line level).
My husband calls me boobs, since the first day we start to date. I wonder why it is. ![]()
Among some of the people from my previous job
I'm still known as Robocop. Not because I was cold like a robot (honestly, who would think that anyway?), but because of my weird sleeping habits. I was the one who always wanted to made triple shift and stay the night making rounds and paperwork, etc. - this was before I turned myself into a baby making machine, of course. *pop*

my real name is fikri but my family calls me lee for no reason.
i remember the first day i was in kindergarten when the teacher asked me what's my name and i answered "lee". she replied, "ali baba?" and the whole class burst into laughter.
good thing my older sister was at the back of the class the whole time so she corrected me. ![]()

My mom named my sister Danielle with the intention of calling her Dani (I guess she has a thing for girl's names with sorta androgynous nicknames?) but it never stuck. She goes by Danielle at home, Dee with her friends, and only a few family friends have ever called her Dani.
