Not so much screenshots from the server, but here is one I just come up with. I have been playing around with Blender and Mineways to create some renders of some of my world saves I have in my saves folder. This one is from a replica map of King's Landing (Game of Thrones). I'm still yet to master the lighting effects, but for a first go, it turned out pretty well I reckon If only I had a copy of the server world save I could render some of OUR creations!

Those are absolutely AMAZING shots, Strat!!! Heh actually I was *almost* off to bed but sneaked back to see if you had posted screenies yet, OMG you totally should do some videos with those resources as well...again, I am totally amazed.

While running around on the server tonight to several different locations, I passed through @Chameleon's home at Spawn before heading on over to my own...I've always loved the stained glass roof so much...but I'd never viewed it before using the Flows (a.k.a. rather uber modern) resource pack: it appeared beyond lovely!

@Kord  I do like the iron doors.  What do cows look like?  I don't know why I have such a big deal over the animals.  I hated the brown cows in one of them.  Cobblestone doesn't look horrid... but it just looks so much better in uhm... the one you know I'm thinking of.  We'll meet at the Mesa tomorrow and go over to the castle and you can switch and see what I mean.

I *think* that the cows in this pack are white with brown spots, but that could be the result of another pack (I've figured out pretty quickly that if a pack is missing something, the game will default to whatever pack is loaded right after it), but I can let you know tomorrow once I am back to an area with cows. I hear you thought, the animals are kinda major for me as well. Looking forward to checking out the castle, and I'll give you my HONEST opinion, but arrrgh I've really grown fond of Flows lately.

So...this afternoon, I traveled to the Ice Spikes biome reachable by the portal following a bit of minecart fun...and I planted a chest to hold some of the Packed Ice that I've already gathered for the future build. It's going to be fun creating a little place out there in the middle of nowhere!

 

 

The view looking back towards the portal-containing hut that I entered this beautiful arctic place through is stunning:

Likewise, upon hiking back to the portal hut and looking back to where I placed the chest and "land development claim" of sorts (it's the distant peak to the right of the tall ice spire), I'm pretty darn pleased by the selection and look forward to eventually building in the area:

Actually, I briefly visited the castle area this evening while Romy was testing some of his portals...and I LOVED what I saw!

I don't know the coords...it's the one accessible via the portal that @Strategist created, the one that you get to by riding a minecart from the Mushroom portal. Is that off limits? Feel free to let me know if so, and I'll find my own damn Ice Spikes biome.
