You guys are right, I just saw some very, very misleading article titles without reading into to them
Got everyone all excite though amirite
I bet the media is trying to plaster it like he has dropped out - a great way to get his supporters to fear the worst and falter. Most liberal media sites have publicly backed Hillary and done everything to black Bernie Sanders out.
That is exactly what is happening. NYtimes says obama is telling donors to back Hillary now. Probably so the dems can get their shit together while the repubs are still blazing on fire.

If Bernie was going to drop out that time would of been before he just faced the Southern firewall lmao.
He is likely to get most if not win many of the states that are left, yes there are some major states that don't look pretty yet to come but he will win a LOT in the upcoming votes.
If you want to follow his campaign more closely I highly suggest you go read r/sandersforpresident
The republicans are treading a very very fine line.
The election no matter which way the nominations go will be very intriguing to watch this Autumn.

I will never understand why people are voting for Hillary. I have a friend on facebook and she always goes on these pro-Hillary rants about how she believes in equality. Sis, not too long ago Hillary didn't even agree with your right to get married. IDGI!
Can I just stay out of the country?
Can I come live with you?

I'm starting to wonder if Clinton's going to win just because Sanders got planted to get young people excited about voting.

Nah, she's going to win because Trump is a fascist.

That would be a pretty bad idea considering there's a significant portion of Bernie supporters who refuse to vote for her.

That might still work though? Given that Clinton presumably wouldn't be very appealing to such voters in the first place, assuming the existence of such a scheme.
(Just a hypothetical consideration)

Well, likewise continued opposition from Ted Cruz makes Trump weaker in the general election.
My point is that the media is STILL disrespecting Sanders' campaign, treating it as a sideshow to the inevitable Hillary nomination. Not just the media, our senators as well! They're acting like Bernie and his supporters are this nuisance, they're like "okay you've had your fun, now get serious." What they still don't seem to grasp is that we ARE serious. Why is it our problem that we're making it difficult for Hillary to secure the nomination? We don't want her! Like, this idea that I HAVE to support Hillary or else Trump will be elected really doesn't sit well with me. First of all, I'm against this idea that even if I don't like her I should still vote for her because of the alternative. At this point, I don't really give a shit if Trump becomes president. If he wins, America voted for him. If Hillary wins, America will have voted for her. I just won't be one of them, and I'm tired of being told I need to be.

Sanders is right. We have plutocracy not democracy. Doubt any candidate besides him has the will to change that.

I agree with your frustrations @DonValentino.
Gonna flip the script for a second - the other side of the fence and even liberals are guilty of saying the same shit about Trump, like he's a joke and his supporters are jokes, there is no way he could win, etc. But he has dominated the primaries for Republicans.
It shouldn't be that US citizens have to select between the lesser of two 'evils' so to speak.
I worry that if Hillary wins the Democratic nomination, I personally, will no longer have the interest in participating in our democratic system because it is so obviously corrupt (see: the entirety of the media blackout against Sanders, DNC corruption, super-PACs, PACs, etc). I am not a revolutionary at heart.

I think lots of people will vote 3rd party. I can only hope that this ugly election will help open a viable path for 3rd parties. But our country is so entrenched in voting R or D that it will never happen... which absolutely sucks. Where do the socially liberal/fiscally conservatives or vice-versa vote? For them, with only 2 parties, they are always having to compromise on what they actually want.

I don't know, I mean, there's 7% of Bernie supporters who said they'd vote for Trump if Bernie didn't get nominated, so I'd imagine Hilary would at least get 14%, plus the amount that voted for her initially. But then we'd have to determine how much of that 7% is only voting at all because of Bernie.
