I am not sure if legit players are affected. but that person dont look very legit to me...

I did not play ghoul catcher, only SS(AC) and AB on that account

Did the stock market glitch

I'VE FOUND THE PERPERATOR! and it's this guy (jjawsnorkasaurus)!

 

i realised the neopoints that i had been reduced by a million so i checked the auction and this was what i found.

 

 

he simply bid with the nps i have out. he didn't take any of the nps in my bank because i have pin enabled.

 

i really don't know what to do right now... this is the second time this has happened to me. i already changed my password. how the hell he was able to access my account? i'm freaking out.

Fikri you fucking saint. You are so awesome. I have been watching the auctions (I was looking for dubloons though) for the last few days, hoping to catch the fucker who was making the auctions. I'm sorry you lost NPs again.  
 

I was suspecting it to be a malicious "hacker" only wanting to cause mayhem. I could understand why he would target us (I'm sure Codex has some enemies). But I'm at a loss to how he would have our/your login codes.

 

It's an easy scapegoat, but it can't be the programs since not everyone has used them.

 

Could it have been someone abusing the database breach from 3 years back? But I don't believe all your accounts are older than 3 years, or are they? And how does he know which ones are codexians?

My account is 9+ years, the one I lost NPs on. I thought maybe this was the case, but it was the last route I wanted to go. I can't believe it. I'm not sure how he could get our information, unless there is some exploit we don't know? But how could he get into the accounts with changed email/passwords? Also, I have no idea about the database breach. I was on hiatus from neo then.
