Isn't Happy Holidays the P.C. way to get around it?

I personally don't mind but I say Merry Christmas :)

I always said merry christmas when I worked as a cashier. I mean... it's christmas. So what else would you call it?

(a) who cares?
(b) those who argue so hard for Christmas are usually evangelicals who don't realize that they are observing the pagan festival of Saturnalia. those who argue that it has come to be about Jesus ignore the fact that the Bible doesn't allow man to invent how he will worship God. Because the God of the Bible stakes His claim as the only true and living God, He demands to be worshiped according to what He prescribes, not according to man's imagination. So Christmas is a giant crock in the first place.

And those who get offended claiming that they don't believe in jesus?
^ That was the topic of this thread.

Personally I think it's supid that people get offended by someone telling them "Merry christmas" like the example OP adressed, but I can't judge them, probably they are living through something very hard and wishing them something good remembers them that they are having bad times.

They are so sensitive that they are offended by "Merry Christmas"? I know they're just trying to start a fire to call for attention to the religion issue, but they should just shut the fuck up. That reminds me of the church telling kids to say "Holy Night" instead of "Halloween"... I'm not going to stop eating meat because it offends vegetarians and they aren't going to give up milk for vegans. They should just take their dictatorish ass to North Korea and dine with that fat mother fucker.

I'm a Christian and say it. Not to convert anyone but just because it's a nice greeting to say.

I have never heard of anyone who gives a genuine shit about people saying happy Christmas.
