He started his victory celebration before finishing the race.

The Bolt guy could have gotten such a better time, if he hadn't slowed down at the end and started celebrating, loled when the Chinese guys started hugging him when he went to hug his mom.

In my state running sections, both high school and college, you may be DQed for unsportsmanlike conduct. I would think it should be the same for Olympians who are a model for most athletes.

I have no problem with him celebrating, but not before he even finished.
The race isn't won until its over.

He probably did it out of adrenaline, as I stated, 19 years old, first Olympics, fastest man in the world

And to get a world record at that...

True, they are saying he could have probally gotten until 9.6, which i don't doubt because it took a lot off his overall time slowing down like that.

They actually said that he could've gotten a 9.5 because he started to celebrate 15 meters before the finish line.

Maybe he kept it a bit slower so he can break his own record in the next olympics.
Don't forget that 100 metres isn't actually his speciality too, he prefers the 200 metres...

Those were my thoughts
He's brilliant anyways, very entertaining, when you're that fast you can do whatever the hell you want as far as I'm concerned
So proud of GB though <3, we're third overall for medals atm I think
The 100m Womens final was great though, Jamaicans came 1st and joint 2nd

Yea he should be insane in the 200 meters because his starts aren't the best but he gains speed at like 30-40 meters. Looking forward to seeing that in the future
