The whole thing about parenthood is precisely that, it's a learning curve for every parent, no matter how prepared you think you may or may not be, just let it happen and do the best you can. It's a rollercoaster ride, but one that inevitably, will be an awesome one. You got this guys, good luck! Welcome back @Cass Nice to see a few older faces popping back around lately. Life has a way of taking the time away from the fun things indeed. I have had much less time to be around here lately due to having to be an adult xD Kids, Missus, Work all take up the best part of my time now, but it's nice to be able to sneak in every now and then to check on how things are here.

It's sad to see what was once a thriving Neopets community seemingly dying off, but I suppose that's how the cookie crumbles when a majority of the userbase here is now much older and more committed to IRL things. It's also a reflection on how Neopets as a whole is heading unfortunately. With the new 'mobile site' being tested out, I don't see things lasting too much longer on Neo if the devs don't take the time to listen to the playerbase.

Mod is basically how much the score increases by in intervals. Like how some games scores only end in 0 or 5, a mod would be 5 then for that game. (I think negg chaser, i can't recall the exact name the negg chasing game that's like snake, is like that). 

 

I would not be using the score sender right now though, it doesn't exactly work and is considered to be unsafe. I'd try AoB instead.

Ah, using Amazon EC2 to run 10+ accounts at the same time was fun. Then making I think 10M+ a day with the habi bot once max level was fun....then selling the NP was even more fun. I forgot what the Amazon program was and came back here to search it up...got hit with a little of the nostalgia coming in here.

Speaking of compensation, wouldn't it make sense to, for example, make Valorsuite Web exclusive for Advanced Members and increase the price of advanced membership a bit? I've been thinking about this for some time. We want Valorsuite to be updated and get new features and such, but it makes absolutely no sense that you're doing all of this alone without getting anything from it, especially since you don't play Neopets yourself. I know there's Valorsuite Premium, but you receiving a part of the price of advanced membership is probably a more reliable way of income for you, and it would make sense for Neocodex too as VS offers in part similar bots that advanced membership offers - I'm thinking of Advanced Abrosia -, so the sales of memberships could increase and everyone would profit. Has you already discussed this in some way?

I was hoping that they would revert to item prizes again like the R99's as I managed to make a lot of bank on that. Looks like this will not be the case sadly, however, I wouldn't mind being able to acquire some of the retired avatars/site themes that I missed out on years ago, if that were to become a 'perk' of donating.

Looking forward to it either way. Be it for the goodies or the ensuing drama on the boards of people's bitter disappointment, I relish either situation.

Welcome to Codex officially mate. That's quite the weight loss achievement, you should be proud of your efforts. I have a couple of mates who do the whole Keto diet thing and they are producing some pretty solid results themselves, all while maintaining quite a healthy lifestyle. 

Me and the missus have been dieting ourselves with a shake meal replacement one for just over a year and we feel great. I managed to lose 18kg in 3 months and have since plateaued out to a respectable 80kg (which I'm quite happy with). Looking at building muscle more now so that weight will likely increase slightly, but I can already see good results coming in from taking up Karate again (after many years of absence).
