Ugh... I've been a lazy-ass. I used to get up at 4 AM to work out for 2 hours before work, but last week was shark week, so I skipped completely, and this week... well... I've been catching up on some sleep.

But I'm going on vacay this coming week, and we'll be doing a ton of hiking. That counts, right?

I know that feeling. Between stretches of laziness and injuries, it feels like I've gotten no where ever :p

Nope! Deloaded, am currently deadlifting 285x5.

I'm hoping that with a good bulk I'll hit 400 for Christmas.

Shoulder day today, didn't feel too great but got 80's for 6, finished off with some light clean and press.. still working on perfecting form for that exercise lol

How often do y'all work abs? I've been working them every monday-wed-friday lately and it seems to be working better then when I worked them every day.. Just been doing three supersets of 3 exercises, 20 reps/exercise

My max goal with a bulk is 400 for Christmas. I do 5x5x225 now but it's light.
I'm gonna move to 245x5x5 I think since my max is only 300.

Do you misc?

I work them directly 3x a week. Remember, they're like other muscles and to get bigger they need to recover.
I usually do a bit more than that and use weighted stuff. So, weighted crunches, weighted hanging leg raises, Russian twists with a plate, etc.

I am resisting a lesbian joke.
GJ trying to the new exercise.

I used to lurk and rarely post, but I haven't even looked at misc in ages. Most of my lurk time is here these days, or fcj.

Oh, you know. I just run through P90X twice a day, no biggie.

Srslytho, just self-weight.
80 push-ups a day minimum, 50 pull-ups a day minimum, 50 dips a day minimum.

Not trying to get thuper ripped, just stay in shape.

That will get you really cut if you keep at it.

Was a bitch the last few days because business has been booming...got back into the gym today, been on an endorphin high for an hour.
Did one of my full body murder workouts, was loving the deadlifts today.

How much weight do you do? Is your form correct?

Top 2 reasons people don't like them.

My form is good, I've been going light for all lower back exercises lately though cause I tweaked something a while ago.. not sure why I don't like them tbh, might be because I slacked on legs my whole life lol

That's probably it :p

Once you get to heavy-ish DLs it's so much fun.
I do 5x5 225 right now and it's great. I'm gonna bump up weight soon.

Do you use a straight bar, or one of those bars that go around your whole body? I find I can go a lot heavier with the bar that goes around the whole body.

I use a straight bar and do a raw alternative grip. I could probably up my PR if I used straps or chalk but I think my grip strength should come along with the rest of my strength.

Yeah I don't like using straps for that same reason, I think I'm going to alternate weekly between straight bar and the one I used today.. and my gym doesn't allow chalk.. lame eh?

My gym doesn't allow singlets, it's ridiculous.
