#2032806 Rona survival guide Version 1.0

Posted by Neoquest on 01 March 2021 - 09:24 PM

For a medical professional, many of your statements are severely lacking in any sort of scientific basis or logic. Just a few thoughts off the cuff:

3. House plants produce a ridiculously negligible amount of Oxygen compared to the amount that a human breathes everyday. This makes no sense.

4. Most people already have to leave their house at least once a week, usually to go to a semi-crowded grocery store. Getting a vaccine will lower the odds of getting covid ~95%. If you do get still get covid, it decreases the worst symptoms & hospitalization odds significantly. Getting the vaccine is the only way we can get back to normal.

5. The vaccines we currently have are developed to target the spike protein that the Coronavirus uses to enter cells. Even if the virus mutates, the vaccine is likely to remain effective because of this - the virus cannot mutate this facet of itself without significantly reducing its infectious capabilities. Saying that vaccines are moot is ridiculous and goes against all the research we have that proves they are highly effective.

Man, this seems like terrible advice. I hope you aren't actually a medical doctor.

Hey, I've updated the download link, which should work now. I gave the program a quick try and it appears to still work. Let me know if you have issues.

Doesn't do anything except allow you to use certain items, I believe. And even that might be broken.

PUBG, BotW (just got a switch!), programming stuff, studying for tech interviews. All the fun stuff. Woo.

I can loosely commit to whipping up a program if needed. I wrote an autoplayer for the last AC that used image recognition to play but it was high effort to make it easily installable by end users.

100% agree with Rocket's initial statement. Cheating, especially in a marriage, is super fucked and if you knowingly take part in it you are a bad person in my eyes.

Here are some pics from the backpacking trip I went on a few days ago. It's hardly "photography" because it's just off my phone camera, but I think they're pretty nice.

Dis what I get. Just as well. I was only short 75 games from max, and I'm tirrrred.

Ah, damn. I thought something like that might happen. I'm using a rather fancy library to make the clickyness happen. Looks like it wasn't properly statically linked. I may or may not fix that later. Sorry for getting your hopes up.

I wrote a program to play SOSD by simulating mouse movements and button presses. Might add MSN later if I decide to procrastinate my real work further :p

Just load up SOSD in your browser and start it up. It will detect the position of the game on your screen and start playing it, but you need to have it set to the standard size (650x600) if you do any fun zooming it'll break.

Anyone want to give it a go? Here ya go

@renegade thanks for proving an alternate solution!

#2019615 Charity Corner 2018

Posted by Neoquest on 13 March 2018 - 12:05 AM

Oh, cool. Well I just made one that does that too. Donates the contents of your inventory in a loop. If you have nothing, waits for 10 seconds before it attempts to donate:

// ==UserScript==
// @name         Easy Donation
// @namespace    http://tampermonkey.net/
// @version      0.1
// @description Donate first 5 items to Charity Corner with a click.
// @author       Neoquest + Daviid
// @match        http://www.neopets.com/charitycorner/2018/np.phtml*
// @grant        none
// ==/UserScript==

(function() {
    'use strict';
    $(document).ready(function(){
        var option_exists = false;
        for(var i = 0; i < 6; i++) {
            var option = $('#charityDrive #gift'+i+' select option:selected').nextAll(':not([disabled])').val();
            if(option) {
                option_exists = true;
            }
            $("#charityDrive #gift"+i+" select").selectedIndex=option;
            $("#charityDrive #gift"+i+" select").val(option);
            $("#charityDrive #gift"+i+" select").trigger('change');
        }

        if(!option_exists) {
            window.setTimeout(function() {
                $(".buttonThanks1").click();
            }, 10000);
        }
        else {
            window.setTimeout(function() {
            $(".buttonDonate").click();
            window.setTimeout(function() {
                $(".buttonThanks1").click();
            }, 1000);
        }, 1000);
    }});
})();

If you have this installed you can just keep the charity corner page open while you buy items.

Posted by Neoquest on 09 March 2018 - 01:43 PM

It wouldn't let me change it to 0, so I left it on 1, and it didn't buy anything in the bookstore.  Wish I had done that earlier before I got NP premium to narrow done the issue :/

Do you think it could be an error retrieving information from the Neocodex item database?  I could try importing a specific list.

I also have the blackmarket boon from the obelisk war, dunno if that affects anything either.

It is very possible that the boon is the problem.
