#1410426 Which is worse: Alcohol, weed or cigarettes?

Posted by Warriors on 16 February 2011 - 09:29 AM

Actually Kitsu, Formal is used to embalm dead bodies and keep stuff fresh...Usually all those jars full of bugs/animals/organs are put in formaldehyde..As well as woodworking and other things..not sure about fire extinguishers but it is used in exhaust gases....

But marijuana as a gateway drug is an excuse people use...I know tons of users who only use weed, I know others who pop pills and others who use harder stuff or just vicodin/codeine...Its all personal choice..Marijuana doesn't make you do anything..However, like alcohol, when under the effects of marijuana you may make a choice to do others forms of drugs. It is not a gateway drug and those who say it is just want marijuana to be legal..There are many medical uses and other uses for marijuana..Hemp is an alternative to paper, as well as being used in shampoo, rope, etc...Marijuana does not and has never cured cancer as someone stated..It does help those with cancer, however, alleviate pain and allow them to eat and keep down food instead of throwing it up from chemo.

I mean if you really grow a tolerance to it smoking weed, then stop smoking for a week and then smoke again. Weed tolerance goes away after 4 or 5 days or so. Absolutely no need to go as far as "looking for a new high". THIS too, from Kitsu, I constantly smoke but if I don't smoke for a couple days...man a blunt will have me faded...There is tolerance but it can go away, just give yourself a break.

Isn't it just drawing a vector diagram? its the difference between ground speed and airspeed which is caused by the influence of the winds on the overall velocity of the aircraft

ground speed = airspeed + wind speed. The word "speed" really should be "velocity" as I suspect you realize. So, airspeed = ground speed - windspeed.

Va = Vg - Vw

I think that's how it goes..Might want to double check that. I don't know that much of HS physics according to my grade, C...lol all the time me and friends would play advance wars during class...

#1379355 MTV to air abortion special

Posted by Warriors on 22 December 2010 - 12:38 PM

Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid..MTV..Go back to 15 years ago when you actually played music...This 16 and mother crap, 16 and birthday crap is just idiotic. And yet millions of people watch this and the Jersey Shore....Yea this shit happens to teenagers, but MTV just makes it seem worse than it is or rather worse just for ratings.

This is the reason why abortion should be allowed, because stupid idiots who don't know how to have safe sex should not procreate and further put their stupid genes out there. I mean she got pregnant the first time and now she did it again? Seriously, have these people learned nothing? Use a damn condom...sheesh.

Not a UK'er..But I do read the Financial Times and have heard of Royal Mail. Maybe the "Special structure" of Royal Mail is due to the fact that its a government entity, like the United States Postal Service, USPS, but its still a corporation regulated by consumer interests. And now its seeking to be a private entity which is seeking to be bought, even by foreign investors. That private buyers will be allowed to own up to 90% of Royal Mail, while the Post Office may be mutualised.

Again, not a UK'er so all this may be garbage =P..But I do notice similarties with the USPS in that the union workers wages and pensions are bringing in huge deficits for the groups.

#1337118 Life would be better without guns.

Posted by Warriors on 07 September 2010 - 09:39 PM

You know I used to be one of those against guns...I didn't really give the 2nd Amendment too much thought, the framers intended it to be for a militia against a tyrannical government. But now, this make sense to me. Guns, when used proper, can keep your property safe and safe against a tyrannical government, to some extent. I doubt it will do much nowadays with today's technology of mass murder with the click of a button but still. Hell, what happens when people storm your property trying to loot, steal, rape, murder or whatever. Citizens do need protection. The police obviously don't give a shit about the individuals, only the society. The police are simply there for the aftermath...

Still wishy-washy about the subject, but most crimes committed with guns, they are almost always unregistered stolen guns. But we also do have the sad shootings of children, by irresponsible gun owners who don't lock their shit away.

#1334594 Dog and Cat abusers

Posted by Warriors on 01 September 2010 - 01:40 PM

Okay....I know I am going to get flamed for this by PETA and everyone else..

In the last couple of weeks, a lotta crap has been on the internet...It all started out with this lady

Spoiler

ABUSE! Right? Okay I can see the uproar over this, its pretty disturbing. But on the other side, I have neighbors with dogs and they crap on my lawn all the freaking time. And they don't clean after them at all..This has been happening for years! I love animals, but sometimes we as a society take it too far. I give em a taste of their own medicine by sometimes flinging the crap onto their roof...These hot days must be hard on them.

This video sparked such a backlash that police had to be stationed outside her house cuz of death threats and other things.

Now...There is a new video of a women throwing multiple puppies into a river...I watched it, way more disturbing then the last video. I won't post it here to follow forum rules, but I will post the link for those who want to watch it.

WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK! MAY CONTAIN VIDEO THAT MAY BE DEEMED INAPPORPRIATE. 18 and over only!

Spoiler
http://www.buzzfeed....y-throwing-girl

Now it seems that PETA offered a reward for this person, numerous other people at 4chan are trying to figure out who did it...Hundreds of people are complaining and crying and giving out death threats..

Granted, this is bad...But really? Where is the outrage when a 10 year old kid gets shot in the head while playing a piano in Oakland,Ca

Where is the outrage when a child is missing, dead...Have we got our priorities messed up? I rarely hear outrage at this stuff...Granted those puppy abusers should go to jail..I am just pissed at the coverage and overblown propensity of this crap.

At the clubs/bars they are so expensive..I try only ordering 1 drink and buying my own bottle with friends drinking before I go in. A Nice bottle of Henessey or Remy Martin always does the trick.

Yea Noit I know..One of my friends before he came here had to take a 2 hour rideall the way around just to pass the checkpoints just to go to the university..Yet he lived only 30 minutes away or so...

Its just hard because if you say anything bad about Israel that they will call you anti-semtic and cite the Holocaust..Yet that has nothing to do with anything anymore..Yes it should be remembered but not brought up for justification of the cruel and unusual punishment of the Palestinian people.

And when others may cite that Israel has a right to their homeland and that they are treating the citizens right..just remember..

* Palestinians are forced to carry identification cards at all times when traveling from city to city

*Palestinians are not allowed to live in Jewish-only housing, even when Palestinians have deeds proving their ownership of this property…

*Palestinians–Muslim and Christian–are not allowed to buy, rent or lease land in 92% of the State of Israel, simply because they are not Jewish

*Israel refuses to abide by over 65 United Nations Security resolutions…

*Israel gives 85% of water resources in Palestine to Israelis and the remaining 15% is divided among all Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, even though the Palestinian population is much larger…

2 good political science thinkers of the 21st century also stated this truth and fact

"The United States has become the de facto enabler of Israeli expansion in the occupied territories, making it complicit in the crimes perpetrated against the Palestinians." - Mearsheimer(creator of the MAD theory) and Walt(wrote on how US foreign policy has been shaped by Israeli lobbyists)

I guess having the biggest lobbyist group in America is helping...

You know..all those google employees, I know I was one, but on a lesser scale, are idiots...They have numerous degrees for just an entry level position but they are always fucking up at work..There have been a bunch of issues with those programmers, I am quite suprised that the site runs so well.

But its us who go straight back to these companies that fail to protect..maybe someone should start a new company?
